NaturalMotion is set to introduce the first virtual motion capture studio at the Game Developer Conference (GDC). Utilizing the company's Active Character Technology (ACT), Endorphin simulates the human body and adds AI motor control. The program provides an alternative to expensive motion capture systems -- instead of directing a live person, the user directs an animated character which can be captured into standard motion capture formats. NaturalMotion will demonstrate Endorphin on stand 1544 at GDC in San Jose (4-9 March). Endorphin will be available for purchase at the booth. Pricing has not yet been announced.
