Mobile game publisher Hands-On and developer Mofactor (Seaward Ho!) have announced that their action/puzzle bird hunting game Duckshot has been launched to handsets in North America. Described as a "quixotic puzzle game," Duckshot features multiple levels and various point scoring bonuses, as well as some puzzle elements as you create cascading bonuses by shooting groups of similar ducks. Advancement is rewarded with collectible hunting stamps, as well as the opportunity to hunt the legendary Golden Snipe. Duckshot is unique among Hands-On's library of mobile releases as one of a few original titles. Hands-On, formerly known as Mforma, is best known for its licenses, which include X-Men, World Poker Tour, and Call of Duty. Developer Mofactor, formed in 2005 as a merger of Amplified Games and Seismic Studios, has also developed mobile golf title GOLO Golf Dice and seafaring strategy trading title Seaward Ho!. “Duckshot is a retro gamer’s fantasy and has the look and feel of a classic 80’s arcade game,” said Hands-On Mobile producer Mark Longust. “Not only will Duckshot appeal to gaming enthusiasts, but also to veteran hunters who need a taste of the sport in the off season or who want to hunt anytime.”
