Gamevil USA announced today that the company's second self-published cellphone title in North American territories will be the action-RPG Path of a Warrior: Imperial Blood. In a similar way to NOM, the company's first self-published title, Gamevil will be supporting the launch a sweepstakes. Once the game has launched, contestants may enter to win by downloading Path of a Warrior on their mobile device, uploading their customized character to the GAMEVIL Live server, and filling out a form online by visiting www.gamevil.com. Path of a Warrior is a considerably more "hardcore" mobile gaming experience than NOM. The a story-driven top-down adventure puts gamers in the shoes of a mercenary, against the backdrop of an empire beset by civil war. Gamevil promises "thousands" of weapon and items, and over 24 unique endings. Path of a Warrior: Imperial Blood’s stand-alone version will be released first, with the pending network-enabled version adding multiplayer features to build on this foundation. While connected to the cellular network, players will be able to acquire online-only items, engage in four-way cooperative battles, engage in multiplayer melee in guild fights, and take over a rival player’s castle. “Path of a Warrior: Imperial Blood changes the way you think about mobile gaming. The exemplary game play depth and the connectivity of the upcoming networked version create a very remarkable gaming experience. We are so thrilled to be able to unveil this type of mobile gaming experience,” said Allen G. Lee, Gamevil USA’s Vice President of Business Development.
