Gameloft announced today that it has signed New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush as the cover athelete for the company's Reggie Bush Pro Football 2007, joining the ranks of Derek Jeter, Vijay Singh, and Lleyton Hewitt in the company's sports catalogue. We are incredibly excited to join forces with Reggie to develop an exhilarating game that will finally bring the excitement of football to mobile,” Michel Guillemot, president, Gameloft said in a statement. He continued, “Football is a classic American pastime, however mobile players have been disappointed by most of the games that are currently out there,” said Guillemot. “Reggie Bush Pro Football 2007 will not only reflect his incredible talent, but also bring a realistic game that is stamped with Gameloft’s signature touch to the market.” Bush, 21, won the Heisman Trophy in his Junior year at USC. Electing to skip his Senior season, he was chosen #2 in the NFL draft by the Saints. Reggie Bush Pro Football 2007 is scheduled for release in January 2007.
