Officials from Midway Games have announced revised guidelines for the company’s operating results, for the three months ended March 31. The results are now expected to be almost twice those previously suggested, with revenues of approximately $18 million. The projected net loss for the quarter is also expected to be considerably lower than the previous estimate of $19 million. At the same time it was also announced that the company had acquired privately-held developer Surreal Software, creators of The Suffering, in an all-stock transaction for 540,317 Midway common shares.
