For its latest regular Xbox Live Arcade update, Microsoft has announced two games to be added to its discount 'Arcade Hits' line with Assault Heroes and Doom, and given a rundown of the games soon to hit the service in the coming weeks. Sierra's Assault Heroes is a top-down single or two-player cooperative shooter from Wanako Games, the Chile-based developer it acquired in February of 2007. Originally released in 2006, id's Doom port topped Xbox Live most-played charts. Both games will be available for a reduced 400 Points ($5). New games expected to soon be added to the service include Zen Studios' mini-game collection based on the classic Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoon, and AI Factory/Rubicon Development's board game conversion Shotest Shogi. Microsoft has also confirmed that TiQal, the casual color-match title from former MumboJumbo vets' Slapdash Games, party and trivia title Wits & Wagers from Hidden Path, and Capcom's Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 would be released in the near future, as well.
