The game allows players to fly airplanes over New York City and other metropolitan areas around the world, with detailed scenery of airports and cities. Microsoft said it will remove depictions of the World Trade Center’s twin towers from the new version, and will also be providing a patch that allows users to remove the towers from existing versions of the game. There has been no suggestion the terrorists used Microsoft’s computer game to prepare for Tuesday’s attacks.
