Mforma, a publisher of mobile phone games, has announced the hiring of two new executives. Jonathan Sacks has been named the new CEO, replacing Daniel Kranzler, while David Oppenheimer has become the company's new senior vice president and chief financial officer. Prior to becoming CEO, Sacks was president of AOL Internet Services, where he oversaw operations and media programming. “I am very pleased to hand Mforma’s reins over to Jonathan Sacks, who has my utmost faith and confidence and who I know will provide invaluable leadership at this very important stage in Mforma’s history,” said former CEO Daniel Kranzler, who will remain with the company as Executive Chairman. Oppenheimer, meanwhile, was chief financial officer at Digital Impact prior to his coming aboard Mforma. While there, he orchestrated the company's sale to Acxiom, Inc. “Mforma is the clear leader in mobile entertainment, working with the world’s major wireless operators and delivering top quality and innovative mobile entertainment products all over the world,” said Oppenheimer. “I look forward to working with an extraordinarily talented management team in implementing the company’s exciting growth strategies.”
