Officials from LucasArts have announced the appointment of a new president, over six months since the post was left empty by the departure of Simon Jeffrey. The role will now be filled by LucasFilm marketing boss Jim Ward, who will continue to act as head of marketing and distribution at LucasFilm. Ward was reportedly hand picked by George Lucas after a review of sales figures from last Christmas, during which the company suffered a number of commercial failures. Source: gamesindustry.biz
