Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Take-Two announced a new CEO today, naming former THQ executive Jeffrey Lapin to the post. The move takes effect January 2, 2003.
Lapin has been at THQ since 1995, where he joined as a director. In 1999 he rose to the post of Vice Chairman, and became the Chief Operating Officer in 2000. Lapin is taking over for Kelly Sumner, who is stepping down and will become President of the company's PC publishing unit, Gathering of Developers. It's not clear what politics played out behind the scenes for Sumner to leave the top position at the company.
