Continuing its recent efforts to give its various studios individual identities, developer Kuju has announced it has rebranded its London studio (Battalion Wars) as Headstrong Games, where it will continue to focus on the Wii, including a forthcoming collaboration with Sega. Kuju CEO Ian Baverstock said the Headstrong rebranding marked the 'final piece of the puzzle' in the company's UK offices. The London studio joins other branches in gaining new names, with its Brighton office renamed Zoë Mode in January of last year, and the Sheffield branch becoming Chemistry roughly twelve months ago. The studio says it has a "number of other projects" in the works, including the unannounced Sega collaboration, and says its focus will continue to be 'character action titles.' Said studio head Bradley Crooks, “We have the ideal opportunity to build on a solid foundation at Headstrong and we have some great projects in development. The studio has a real advantage on the Wii due to our experience with both single-player and multi-player development and we can get projects up and running quickly with our mature technology and tools.”
