UK-based Kuju Entertainment has announced it has appointed Bradley Crooks as studio head of its London studio, where he will lead development of the Nintendo-published Battalion Wars games for Wii. Prior to joining Kuju, Bradley held publishing and production roles at Electronic Arts where he oversaw the release of titles including Crysis, Black & White 2, The Godfather and The Sims franchise. He has also worked in new media and film over 15 years in the entertainment sector. Kuju London currently has 45 staff members, and the company says it's working on several unannounced titles. Kuju has created a number of specialized studios in recent months: its Sheffield-based Chemistry focuses on Unreal Engine-developed titles, while its Brighton-based Zoe Mode focuses on casual and social gaming. Commented Crooks, “I’m looking forward to being a part of the great team of people that make up the studio in London. We’re working on some really innovative projects at the moment and are well placed to take advantage of consumers' changing appetite for games and the growing success of new types of game consoles and interfaces.”
