According to Yonhap News Agency its analysis of the weekly sales charts for video games at Korean game stores Lotte Mart and Wizard Soft show that American games are dominating sales ahead of locally produced products. PC titles from Blizzard and EA proved particularly popular and during the 89 weeks under examination not a single Korean made product made it to the number one spot. These results are in contrast to last year when Korean products such as Top Blade and Magna Carta frequently made it into the top five list. This news will come as something of a blow to the Korean development community, which has been attempting to make a number of inroads into Western markets in the last few years.
