Konami's Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has announced an English-language translation of his official weblog on the Kojima Productions website, following the Japanese debut of his online production diary last month. The English-language version of 'Hideoblog', located on Konami of Japan's site, is gradually being translated to be brought up to date with Kojima's current entries, but a number of entries have already been translated. Among them is an account of his recent interview with Sin City creator Frank Miller, of which he says: "Miller is more than just an artist. He is an innovator and pioneer", as well as a longer discussion of the weapons training classes Kojima Productions is receiving from military expert Mr. Mori to prepare them for development on Metal Gear Solid 4. Of this, Kojima mentions: "World peace? In Japan we are happy to not think about such difficult matters. Yet we are going to deliver MGS to our audience all over the world; we cannot use false information as the basis of our creation, even it if is only a game. We cannot hide our faces from reality."
