Kaydara Launches Free Softimage|XSI Data Exchange Plug-In

Kaydara has released the Kaydara FBX-XSI plug-in, which gives XSI users a way to acquire and exchange 3D data between Softimage|XSI, Kaydara Motionbuilder, and other Kaydara FBX partners. This free plug-in enables animators to import and export 3D data using the Kaydara's FBX file format as the intermediate step in the exchange process. FBX is a platform-independent 3D authoring and interchange format that helps animators move 3D content between various 3D applications and source material providers. FBX is a binary file format, and supports all the major 3D data elements, as well as 2D, audio, and video. The FBX-XSI plug-in is free and available at http://www.kaydara.com/fbx.
