Jon Peddie Departs JPA, Starts New Firm

JPA announced the departure of its founder and president Jon Peddie.

After 16 years, Peddie, a veteran of the computer graphics market is leaving to pursue new business interests in the technology community -- and starting a new firm, Jon Peddie Research. Jon Peddie Research will offer consulting services and specialized semi-weekly report, "Jon Peddie's Tech Watch," to its clients. It will also be announcing some new market studies. Kathleen Maher also left JPA, joins Peddie at the new firm. Since its acquisition by Penton Media in 1999, JPA has grown its team of industry analysts and editors and expanded the business beyond its traditional areas of research. JPA's business operations will be managed by Randall Stickrod, and product and research development will be managed by Christine Arrington.
