JAMDAT Acquires Hexacto Games

JAMDAT Mobile announced the acquisition of <a href="http://www.hexacto.com">Hexacto Games</a>, a provider of games for Palm, Pocket PC and cell phones.

As a result of the acquisition, JAMDAT will add Hexacto's entire library of original and branded titles to its slate, and integrate Hexacto's Montreal-based development team into its publishing business. Hexacto Games develops casual games primarily for the Pocket PC, Smartphone and Palm platforms. Its line-up of original games includes Tennis Addict, Baseball Addict, The Emperor's Mahjong, and Lemonade Tycoon; the company has also developed games based licensed properties, including Worms World Party, Kasparov Chessmate, Hoyle, and Micrsoft's Links. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
