Conference organizers IQPC have announced their Profit Maximization in the Video Game Industry conference, a new executive game conference to take place in San Francisco from November 28th through the 30th. Hoping to counter the threatened sales slowdown as the current generation rolls over to the next, the IQPC group will bring industry professionals together with those outside the industry to examine market trends, investment opportunities and revenue generation within the gaming industry. The conference, sub-headed as "Capitalizing on Emerging Platforms for Optimal Profit, Market Share and Innovation" will take place at the Crowne Plaza Union Square in San Francisco on November 28th through the 30th of this year. Presented will be case studies from leading industry companies including Nickelodeon Networks, news site GameDaily, and The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and Bloodwake developers Stormfront Studios, among others. Attendees will also be able to share perspectives on growing investment opportunities, understand the implications of casual gaming, assess the risks and rewards of licensed property acquisitions, explore business models for delivering video games to wireless platforms, examine the hot trends and emerging opportunities that will affect the future of the gaming industry, and sign up for interactive workshops. More information on the Profit Maximization in the Video Game Industry conference can be found at the IQPC's official website for the event.
