Officials from Infogrames, which publishes titles exclusively under the Atari brand name, have announced that the company has closed a new round of financing through its wholly-owned subsidiary California US Holdings to the amount of $28,161,020, with a one year maturity date. The company received the money from Nexgen Capital Limited on Thursday and in exchange transferred 10.6 million Atari shares. This reduces the company’s holding in Atari from 68% to 58%.
