Representatives from Human Head (Prey) and newly formed Marc Ecko Entertainment have announced a new partnership to develop a new next-gen video game. No further details on the title have yet been announced, including projected platforms or release date. The game follows the last interactive outing from Ecko, The Collective-developed Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure. That title found itself on the receiving end of a number of worldwide controversies, including one with New York City over a proposed public graffiti show, and a ban of the game in Australia for allegedly promoting graffiti crime. The game will also be the first release from the newly founded Marc Ecko Entertainment, a dedicated video game production house subsidiary of Marc Ecko Enterprises. Said Marc Ecko Entertainment president Mike Lynch, “Human Head is a premiere developer that is up to the challenge of crafting a title that is conceptually different than any game ever made. Our entire team is focused on working side by side with Human Head’s core group to develop an action title that is truly ambitious in scope. Our job is to change perceptions of what a game can be.” Added Marc Ecko, “As a huge fan of Prey, I am psyched to have the opportunity to watch Human Head enhance our vision and bring it to life. It’s sort of like drawing up the play for the ‘to win’ basket and having Jordan there to execute it to perfection.”
