The organisers of the Game Developers Conference have announced that the annual event will be held in San Francisco from next year, instead of the current venue in San Jose. The primary reason for the move is put at the lack of hotel space in San Jose, as the conference continues to expand in size and importance. The GDC is produced by the CMP Game Group, which also produces this site.
