Against the background of the 2003 Game Developers Conference, GameSpy Industries announced the signing of a two-year technology and services agreement with Vivendi Universal.
Under the agreement, GameSpy will supply technology and back-end services including server, bandwidth, and reporting support for several online games to be released by Vivendi Universal, the first two of which will be Homeworld 2 and Lords of the Realm 3. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
