The 2005 North American Game-On Conference, to be held be held at McGill University in Montreal, Canada from August 22nd to 24th, has updated its official website to officially announce the event and put out a call for papers. The event is intended to bring together North American researchers to exchange ideas on high-level concepts in gaming, and applicants to speak at the conference can submit either full papers, which can be from 5 to 8 pages in length, depending on the quality of the paper; extended abstracts, which should be at least five pages long; or short abstracts, which must be at least 3 pages. One-page abstracts are expressly forbidden, and each entry will be judged by members of the International Program Committee. The official CFP is available as a file on the website. The Program Committee section has also been expanded; though the list is not yet complete, the committee now runs to 19 listed members from all over the globe, not just North America. In addition to the talks held at the conference, GameOn NA will also host a tour of the newly established Ubisoft Campus in Montreal.
