Game Connection @ GDC Announces Exhibitor Deadline

Game business event producer Connection Events has announced that it expects some 700 participants at this year's Game Connection America 2008, running alongside this year's Game Developer Conference (run by CMP, as is this website) at San Francisco's Moscone Center, February 19-21st. The exhibitor deadline for this year's event is January 15th. Thus far, publishers and developers including D3P, Eidos, Microsoft, Namco-Bandai, SEGA, Ubisoft, THQ, Konami and more have registered to attend. Organizers note that the exhibitor space for its recent Lyon event sold out weeks before, and brought 208 exhibitors, up 40 percent from the previous year. This year will be the first in which the event runs three days, and marks the first time in the U.S. in which service providers will be integrated with developers and publishers.
