As part of its expanding video game education-related coverage, which is featured on the Gamasutra Education section, the editors of Gamasutra are looking for new features written for and about video game educators and students. Some of the topics that we are particularly looking for in order to expand are outlined below. Features, such as: - 'Day In The Life' articles, chronicling a typical day in the existence of a video game student or educator. - Postmortems of student games, describing 'What Went Right' and 'What Went Wrong' in creating them. - Soapbox-style opinion articles that are specifically related to game education or student-related concepts. - Chronicles of project experiences with contests. - Instructional articles on the best ways to teach game development with regard to teaching or tool approach (preferably presented as a comparative search, rather than promoting one particular institution). - Event wrap ups on educational game related events. Theses: Graduate theses in game development or related disciplines from accredited, full-time colleges and universities. If you're interested in writing on any of these subjects for Gamasutra and receiving a small 'honorarium' payment for doing so, please mail the editors at [email protected] with information on your university/school affiliation (if any) and the article that you would like to write.
