Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) organizers have announced several key changes within the organization, with senior director Paul Lipson taking up a new role as president, while founder Tommy Tallarico will assume the new post of CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Adding to this, Jack Wall, the organization's vice president, will step down and remain as an active member of the Board. Michelle Sorger, who has served as director of development within the organization since 2005, was elected to fill the position of vice president. In his new role as president, officials note that Lipson will work to promote growth of the non-profit organization through new initiatives, partnerships, research and professional development activities that serve the membership and the global game audio community. G.A.N.G's goals include the education of the gaming industry about the importance of audio in interactive entertainment and how to create a superior sound experience. “I appreciate the support of my colleagues and am excited to continue to build on the foundation that Tommy and our founders have worked tirelessly to create for the game audio community,” commented Lipson following the announcement. “I look forward to working closely with the Board of Directors and fellow officers as we continue to grow our membership and expand our community in the coming year.” Tallarico added: “Paul's experience and leadership has been instrumental in the growth and development of the Guild. He really understands the mission and vision of the organization, and we are excited to have him on board in this capacity.”
