Officials from UK magazine publisher Future Publishing announced that the company has acquired the titles PC Zone and CVG (Computer & Video Games). In a deal valued at £2.5 million ($4.5m), the company will also acquire the popular website computerandvideogames.com. PC Zone is the UK’s longest-running PC games magazine, which sold an average of 41,073 copies per month in its last audited period. The multi-format CVG is the country’s oldest continually-running games magazine, but recently suffered a 40% drop in sales. The deal leaves the magazines' previous owner, Dennis Publishing, without any video games-related titles. Source: MCV
