Representatives from Fonix have announced that Electronic Arts has licensed the company’s speech solutions, in order to implement speech recognition in future games. The multi-year license agreement follows the addition of the company to Sony’s Tools and Middleware program. The company’s software has previously been used in titles such as Rainbow Six 3 and SWAT: Global Strike Team on the Xbox. Source: Business Wire
