In this latest Gamasutra gallery, we present a selection of artwork from the portfolio of Rockstar San Diego's senior concept artist Eric Lin, whose artwork and character designs have been used in games such as Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, Spy Hunter 2 and Test Drive Off-Road: Wide Open. When asked why he got into the games industry, Lin responded as follows: "I have loved games since the Nintendo Famicom era, my favorite game back then was Rockman (Megaman). Back in the college days I played a lot of Playstation games such as Final Fantasy Tactics and the Resident Evil series with roommates. At that point of my life I’ve decided to be a game artist instead of films. You can learn more about Lin and view some of his work, including renders of organic creatures, robots, and really large vehicles, in this latest Gamasutra gallery (registration required.)
