Exluna is currently beta testing Entropy version 3.1, which will be available in January of 2002. This new release from Exluna includes a number of improvements including a new plug-in that integrates Entropy directly with Discreet’s 3ds max and 3D studio Viz software, allowing advanced programmable shading and lighting, in addition to 3ds max network rendering. Entropy 3.1 also introduces new features such as depth of field and HDRI image-based lighting, as well as performance enhancements to significantly improve rendering speed, motion blur and sub-pixel displacement. Exluna’s Entropy v3.1 will be available in January for $1750.
