The Ex’pression College for Digital Arts and the industry association Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) have announced the establishment of two new $10,000 scholarships for G.A.N.G. members toward a Bachelor of Applied Science degree program for game audio studies. A joint panel of Ex’pression College faculty members and G.A.N.G. officers will select two candidates to receive these scholarships, and the winner will be announced in June at a G.A.N.G. assembly hosted at Ex’pression College. Interested parties may submit essays to be considered until May 15, and more information is available on the official G.A.N.G. website. “Audio continues to play a significant role in the future of video games,” said Kirk Engel, CEO, Ex’pression College for Digital Arts. “We’re happy to build on our relationship with G.A.N.G. and work together to provide two more scholarship opportunities for G.A.N.G. members interested in a career in the digital arts and specifically the growing field of game audio.” "Our partnership with Ex'pression College for Digital Arts advances our mission by providing scholarships and professional development opportunities to every level of our membership," said Paul Lipson, Senior Director of G.A.N.G. "It's exciting to be able to impact the growth and development of audio careers within the interactive entertainment industry in such a profound way.”
