Ex’pression College, G.A.N.G. Announce Joint Scholarship

Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, in conjunction with the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), has announced the launch of its second $10,000 scholarship for G.A.N.G. members toward a Bachelor of Applied Science degree program for game audio studies.

Ex’pression College for Digital Arts, an accredited college that prepares students for careers in the digital arts and entertainment industries, in conjunction with the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), a non-profit organization established to promote excellence in interactive audio, today announced the launch of its second $10,000 scholarship for G.A.N.G. members toward a Bachelor of Applied Science degree program for game audio studies. A joint panel of Ex’pression College faculty members and G.A.N.G. officers will select the winning candidate, and will present the scholarship in March at the 2007 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, California. Scholarship applications will be accepted until February 28, 2007. Submissions will be judged based on responses to essay questions, quality and integrity of submitted audio file, and financial need. "The partnership with Ex'pression College for Digital Arts advances our mission by providing scholarships and professional development opportunities to every level of our membership," said Paul Lipson, senior director of G.A.N.G. "We are proud of our Fall winner Ivo Ivanov, and we look forward to awarding this second scholarship to another deserving G.A.N.G. member with outstanding talent.” “The more than $15 billion gaming industry continues to grow significantly year after year.
