Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
A new game development/publishing company, En-Tranz Entertainment, has been launched in Hong Kong by a executive team led by GoD's former co-founder and president Harry Miller.
The En-Tranz executive team is rounded out by ex-Sony Online exec Bernie Yee (VP for Publishing), ex-Sony/Verant programmer Kevin McPherson (Chief Game Technologist) and Simon Chang (GM for Publishing in Greater China). En-Tranz plans to publish first- and third-party online games in the Asia Pacific region, in partnership with two local companies, E1 Media Technology and Sonet. The company lists two third-party games on its site, Gigantic Games' IronSquad and JackedIN.com's Terracorps. In addition to its Hong Kong headquarters, En-Tranz operates in Taiwan, Korea and China.
