European PS2 And Xbox Prices Drop

Widely expected price drops for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox consoles in Europe have been announced at the same Game Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The Xbox will now sell for £99.99 ($182) in the UK and €149.99 ($184) on mainland Europe. The PlayStation 2 will retail for £104.99 ($191). The price drops had been widely anticiapted for some time in Europe, especially in light of equivalent drops in North America earlier this year. Source: Microsoft, Sony
