Consumer site Eurogamer is launching a new UK event for gamers, featured alongside the London Games Festival. Called the Eurogamer Expo, it'll showcase holiday releases across all consoles and be open to the public. The third annual London Games Festival will run from October 24 to 29 this year. The Festival will also feature Video Games Live concert performances and the London Movie Comic Media (MCM) Expo. The Eurogamer Expo will take place at the Old Truman Brewery from October 28 to 29 and will offer gamers a chance to play titles such as Street Fighter IV, Prince of Persia, Mirror’s Edge, LittleBigPlanet, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, and Saints Row 2. Eurogamer is encouraging gamers to make a €5 ($7) donation to UK charity GamesAid to guarantee a ticket for the expo. Says Eurogamer managing director Rubert Loman: "Gamers have been crying out for a credible gaming event for years and publishers haven't had anywhere to show off their biggest games at the most important time of the year. We're delighted to bring them together under the Eurogamer Expo banner."
