Ensemble, LucasArts Working Together On Upcoming Star Wars RTS
<a href="http://www.lucasarts.com">LucasArts</a> and <a href="http://www.ensemblestudios.com">Ensemble Studios</a> are forming a strategic alliance to develop a new RTS franchise based on the Star Wars franchise.

The first game, to be titled Star Wars Battleground, will be built upon technology used in Ensemble's Age of Empires series and will be released this coming Fall. The joint venture goes beyond technology sharing as well: Ensemble designer Bruce Shelley will be one of the designers behind the game.
