Representatives from Electronic Arts have announced that the company has signed a distribution and publishing deal with Free Radical Design for the next game in their successful TimeSplitters franchise. Previous games in the series were published by Eidos Interactive, but the publisher and developer had a fairly public falling out last year, over the direction of the franchise. The new game will be published by EA Partners and is scheduled for a 2005 release. This is the second UK developer Electronic Arts have signed this week, after securing Burnout 3 from Acclaim on Monday. Source: Electronic Arts
