Officials from Electronic Arts have announced that the company’s “Pogo Cares” campaign on the free Pogo.com and subscription based Club Pogo online gaming sites has raised more than $38,000 for breast cancer initiatives. Pogo.com features more than sixty classic card, board, trivia, arcade, and related titles and draws 12.4 million unique monthly visitors and 3.6 million unique daily visitors, of which 75% are women. As part of the charity program, Electronic Arts launched several online and offline initiatives to support and promote October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Of the more than $38,000 raised, $20,000 was raised through player donation initiatives. Electronic Arts donated the other $18,000 in support of several 'Pogo Cares' online programs.
