Electronic Arts officials have announced the appointment of Robert Pittman to its board of directors. In doing so the company’s board has been increased from eight to nine members. Pittman is a member of private investment firm Pilot Group and also serves on the board of directors of Cendant and numerous charitable organizations. Previously Pittman has been COO at AOL Time Warner and president and CEO of MTV Networks.
