Electronic Arts' subsidary, <a href="http://www.ea.com">EA.com</a>, announced the acquisition of <a href="http://www.pogog.com">pogo.com Inc.</a>, an online family games site located in San Francisco, CA.
Pogo.com, which claims almost 17 million registered members, provides free online games and features over 40 games in eight categories (card, word, "risk-free" casino, puzzle, board, trivia, sports, arcade games). Erick Hachenburg, president and chief executive officer of pogo.com, will maintain leadership of the pogo.com site.
