Dwango Announces New President/CEO

Representatives from wireless application developer and publisher Dwango have announced the appointment of Rick J. Hennessey as CEO and president of the company. Hennessey joined the company in May 2003 and has been the president of the dwango wireless division since July 2003. At the same time the acquisition of Over the Air Wireless Inc has been annouced - a company engaged in the wireless ring tone business and Hennessy's former business. Hennessey is currently located in Seattle and the company’s corporate functions will now relocate to there from Houston, Texas. Current CFO, Jacques Faust and COO, Conrad Hametner, will not join Hennessey in Seattle – although Faust will remain with the company for a further 60 days. Source: Dwango
