DTS Surround Sound SDK Available For PS2 Developers

Digital Theater Systems (DTS) announced that its SDK for enabling 5.1 surround sound in PS2 games is now available on Sony's web site. Launched last year, the SDK is now compatible with Sony's MultiStream tool, and has been designed to simplify integration for developers who use MultiStream. PS2 developers can access the DTS SDK on Sony's PS2 developer web site. So far, four DTS-encoded PlayStation 2 titles have been released, all from Electronic Arts: SSX Tricky, NHL 2002, Sled Storm and Pirates: Legend of Black Kat.
