Discreet announced the availability of its new Particle Flow Extension software for 3ds max customers registered with the Discreet Subscription Program. Based on an annual fee, the Subscription Program allows 3ds max customers to automatically keep their animation tools up-to-date. Along with standard maintenance downloads, program members receive valuable software "extensions", online learning tools, and specialized educational material. The Particle Flow Extension is another addition to the 3ds max modelling, animation and rendering tools that include internal forces, deflectors, materials, MAXscript, the 3ds max renderer, and most 3rd party rendering solutions. The Particle Flow Extension integrates into 3ds max software for the creation of realistic fountains, fog, snow, splashes, contrails, explosions and other environmental effects.
