Discreet Posts Latest 3DS Max Update

Discreet has released a downloadable update for 3DS Max on the web, bringing it to version 4.2. The update is a free maintenance release that includes enhancements across the entire product. Enhancements range from increasing overall memory efficiency in different parts of the application to performance increases in Particles, TrakView, TrackBar, RPF, and ActiveShade. In addition, workflow enhancements include Skin, Custom Attributes, Render Elements, Subdivision Surfaces (HSDS, Meshsmooth), Parameter Wiring, Groups, ActiveShade, and PolyObjects.
