Diamond Multimedia Returns To Graphics Market

Best Data Products has announced that it has completed acquisition of Diamond Multimedia from Sonicblue (which retains the rights to the Rio brand for its MP3 players), and plans to return the Diamond brand to the graphics market. The transaction includes the Diamond Multimedia, Stealth, Viper and Supra trade names and trademarks as well as business assets, product inventory, and other intellectual property. Diamond plans on selling Viper and Stealth branded graphics cards, using 3D graphics chips from both ATI and Nvidia. The company expects to begin shipping graphics cards in November.
