Di-O-Matic, a developer of character animation software, has made its first step into 2D animation by announcing the official release of LipSync MX software for post synchronization. According to the company's press release, LipSync MX enables easy lip-sync to every Flash MX designer, incorporating a user-friendly interface where, with a single audio file LipSync MX's algorithms will automatically produce timing and lip position data for your characters. LipSync MX does this by analyzing the phonemes within the audio file, and generating standard key frames in most languages. It then allows Flash animators and designers to adjust the synchronization.
