Writing in a personal column on the developer’s website, Muumuu president Yukihito Morikawa has indicated that the expected price of Nintendo DS software is currently set at ¥3,800 ($35). The comment was made in passing as Morkikawa explained how producers were having difficulty creating Nintendo DS titles that used the console’s functionality for more than simple gimmicks. “It's easy to come up with those kinds of small ideas, and the DS is a superb hardware in that sense," he is quoted as saying. "But, those kinds of ideas are too small to fit in a ¥3,800 cartridge, which is why developers are deadlocked. It's difficult to expand on those types of small ideas, in the same way a short story will not become a good novel if you bloat it up with unnecessary ideas." Source: SPOnG
