Develop Conference organizer Tandem Events announced that the call for speaker submissions is now open, with the European expo taking place in Brighton, England from July 14 - 16, 2009. Interested parties from the game development community can submit their proposals for conference sessions until March 1, 2009. Proposed lectures and panels must fit into one of six planned tracks for the conference -- Production, Coding, Business, Art & Animation, Audio, and Design. Now in its fourth year, Develop Conference provides seminars, sessions, and workshops designed to help attendees network, learn about new tools and techniques, and share their experiences in the industry. Last year's event brought in some 1,200 attendees from 22 territories. "Each year, [Develop Conference] attracts a stellar cast of some of the industry's most informative, thought-provoking and entertaining speakers and the call for submissions offers the chance for developers themselves help shape the program." says Tandem Events managing director Andy Lane. "It combines lively, topical sessions and debates, plus the prestigious Develop Awards and a host of other networking events."
