Known as Deca Sporta in Japan and Sports Island in Europe (where it was published by Konami), the title offers 10 sporting events simulated with the Wii Remote. Up to four players can play against each other or cooperatively in sports like archery, curling, kart racing, and figure skating. Deca Sports featured sponsorship with sports apparel manufacturer Adidas, whose logos appeared on characters clothing, sports gear, and shoes. “With the popularity of the Wii and its ever-growing expansion into homes everywhere around the world, we are excited for the continued possibilities of success for Deca Sports,” says Hudson Entertainment's Console Division head Dai Kudo.
