Several prominent speakers have already been booked for the D.I.C.E. Summit. New to the AIAS ceremony this year will be a red carpet treatment, celebrity hosts and presenters, and musical guests with songs featured in games. The ceremony will be held at the Henderson Pavilion in Las Vegas on the evening of February 9. Earlier this year, 2005's AIAS awards saw Valve Software's PC FPS Half-Life 2 not only scooping the top award, but also eight others. Other notable winners were Bungie's top-selling Halo 2, with four awards and Namco's Katamari Damacy with two, including the Innovation in Console Gaming award. Trip Hawkins was also formally inducted in the AIAS hall of fame.
